It's amazing to me how 'normies', that is people who did not develop chemical addictions to drugs and alcohol in their life, happily delude themselves into thinking that they are somehow free from the exact same life controlling issues that addicts medicate over.
Normies medicate, and lie to themselves about it. Half a y'all are addicted to wine. You drink everyday. You plan your day around it. You look forward to your 'relax' time, and if that time gets interrupted somehow, you're pretty bent over it. That's addict behavior.
And there's a boat load of normies addicted to lying! You live in denial of your own fallenness, or how you are still in bo***ge to the abuse you grew up in. Denial is lying. You've believed the lie for so long and so much, you have changed your normal to it.
And when someone tells you the truth, you're offended. You tell the lie as though it were the truth, because you cannot face the real truth. You can't uncover or admit what happened because it's too painful. That is the nature of an addict.
In your comparison between you and drug addicts, you justify your lies and phony behavior, making it seem like you are better, 'well, at least I didn't do drugs', all you succeed in doing is exposing your self righteousness.
You may be drug free, but you are not free at all until you are lie free.
