In those early days, breastfeeding can feel anything but natural. It’s new, it’s emotional and sometimes it’s downright hard. But you’re not doing it wrong—it’s a learning process for both of you.
Family Connects nurse Toni Cowger shares this encouraging reminder:
"Breastfeeding is a learning experience for both mom and baby as they get to know each other. It may take some practice, but breastfeeding usually gets better after the first couple of weeks. You and your baby are getting to know one another. You’re figuring it out together. And with time, patience, and support, it does get easier."
Family Connects is here to remind you: you're not alone, you're doing your best, and that’s more than enough. 💛
