Big Boy's on the way...

Heads up, Springfield!

Union Pacific’s historic Big Boy No. 4014 is rolling through town on Saturday, July 18.

The train is arriving at 10:45 A.M. and will be here for roughly 30 minutes, leaving at 11:15 A.M.

Important information:

Washington St. between 2nd and 4th will be closed starting at 6 AM. There will be no street parking on the closed streets and will be marked with red or blue bags.

Streets will reopen at 1 PM, or as soon as the locomotive clears the tracks.
