Ministry Highlight - KidsFirst
When Ken and Tammy Owen said yes to God’s call, they stepped beyond the familiar and into a mission to reach the next generation with the gospel. Today, through KidsFirst Ministries, they are equipping churches, supporting children’s outreaches, and helping kids and families encounter Jesus both inside and outside the church walls. From community events in South Carolina to ministry opportunities around the world, their heart is simple: every child matters to God.
“One child won to Jesus represents a potential 70 years of service for Him.”

"At Gospel Outreach, evangelism is not simply a ministry activity, it is our mission and heartbeat.
Jesus spoke of the shepherd who left the ninety-nine to go after the one lost sheep. That same passion drives us today. We are committed to Going After the One — the forgotten, the hurting, the broken, and those far from God — until every person has the opportunity to encounter the hope of Jesus Christ."

Healing begins when stories are shared.
Pictured are Melliza Taylor and her son Riley, whose story is a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness, healing, and redemption. Through SaveOne, women, men, and families impacted by abortion are finding hope, freedom, and restoration in Jesus. What started from one missionary’s testimony of healing has grown into a ministry reaching people across the country through safe spaces, biblical support, and compassionate community.
No pain is too great for God’s grace, and no story is beyond redemption.

“My staff can lead a kid hanging upside down on a horse to Christ.”
That’s just a glimpse into the bold and unconventional ministry of U.S. missionary and rodeo chaplain Linda Scholtz.
From trick riding arenas to widow retreats, Linda has spent decades building relationships inside the rodeo world and pointing people to Jesus in the middle of it all. What began with a God-ordained connection at a rodeo event grew into a lifelong calling alongside her late husband, Paul, and eventually into a nationwide ministry through chaplaincy and trick riding.
Today, she continues to serve the rodeo community through trick riding schools, mentoring young women, and hosting retreats for widows and hurting women in ranching communities. In every setting, she creates space for faith conversations, healing, and life change through Christ.
Even through seasons of loss and transition, her calling remains clear: to bring hope to her rodeo world through Christ.

The need is real and growing, but Gospel Outreach is reaching people who are often overlooked and bringing hope where it is needed most.
