Today was one of those days I never expected. What started as a normal workday turned into something I'll never forget.

My job surprised me by setting up a small book signing for The Real Monster during the opening of our new cafeteria. I ended up signing books for my coworkers and sharing a moment I honestly never thought I'd experience at work.

I'm still trying to process it. I feel grateful, humbled, and a little emotional, not gonna lie.

To everyone who was part of this surprise, to my boss Chris, and to everyone who has supported my writing, read my stories, shared a post, left a review, or simply believed in me... thank you. Moments like this remind me why I came back to writing.

This one meant a lot.

After almost six days sick, I’m finally feeling better. Still dealing with some body aches, especially in my hip, but overall better.

I’ll be honest. I haven’t had much motivation to do much of anything. But the day is getting closer, and The First Parasite releases on the 25th.

The ARC reviews so far have been incredible. I’m genuinely happy with the reception the book has had, and I can’t wait for it to be available so everyone can experience it.

With this book, The Mortal Coil really begins to take shape, and the mystery finally starts to unravel.
