That’s the nickname Encompass Connection Center relationship coaches use for a region of the brain called the amygdala. When working with couples, parents, and co-workers, it becomes a helpful (and memorable) way to explain why conversations can escalate into hurtful—even destructive—situations. Left unchecked, “Amy” can get us into trouble.

We’re so excited to introduce the newest member of the Encompass Connection Center team - Kwaunisha Moore.

Kwaunisha is stepping into the role of Client & Donor Coordinator, taking over for Alexi Cherry. Kwaunisha is a Springfield native, loves to read, and a member of Restored Life Ministries. She is both excited and grateful for the opportunity to step into this role and help carry forward the mission of Encompass. She’s passionate and eager to be part of the work of seeing family trees forever changed in our community!
