Special shout out to our SLPs and SLPAs. We are so lucky to have such a great team: Krysty/Sarah Easter, Kristi Self, Natalie Cotanch, Katie JuVette, Dee Davis, and Brooklyn Rogers. They do great things for students and families daily!

The speech-language pathology field began growing in the 1920s as speech pathologists focused on treating soldiers returning from war. Today, throughout America, over 119,000 speech-language pathologists work in a variety of fields. You’ll find speech-language pathologists in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, schools, early intervention settings, universities, and private practices. In 2010, the United States dedicated May 18th as ‘National Speech Pathologist’ day, a day to recognize these incredible individuals.

Here at Springtown ISD, we are fortunate to have amazing SLPs - their holistic thinking, creativity, compassion and commitment to making a difference in students’ lives are just a few characteristics that make the team so special.
