Stokes Yolks

We needed the rain but I would have preferred not to be running around in it panicking because one of my coops was flooding…of course it was the one my little bantams were in who like to sleep on the floor 😆 oh and my wee ones had to be rushed into a kennel in the garage because they were getting drenched. It was an unexpected chain of events this evening!

These fellas and gals are looking for a new flock!

2 buff silkie cockerels
1 partridge silkie cockerel
4 silkie mix pullets

They are all just over 3 months old, pet quality.

My poor hens went on strike! It’s so hot only the die hards are laying eggs. I got 2 full sized eggs and one tiny egg today 😅 I mean I can’t blame them though!

We have verified young roosters (technically cockerels) I have a few more but they weren’t letting me get pictures. I suspect quite a few from my younger crew but too soon to be certain. These fellas will have to go ✌️ Too many boys and about enough girls makes for problems and I don’t want a bachelor pen sorry my feathered hormonal friends.

Pom Pom the center of attention always 🤣 The smallest one but will not go unnoticed by the peasants 😆 I swear the big attitude in that tiny body is going to provide me with countless amusing moments!
