I spy with my little eye a hit list bird!

Well I have never had an experience like we did today. I have shot a few swans in my day. But today they did it dirty. At one point I felt like I was snow goose hunting with a tornado over me.

We got all three down with in 30 minutes of shooting light. Continued decoying birds for another hour before they finally settled down.

Amazing morning yesterday!!! Quality time with the boys even though we didn’t have a hunter we still had a blast…. Oh note to self don’t tell the boys they are coming til I wake them up the day of the hunt. Alarm set for 3:30 am and leave by 4 turned kids waking me up at 1:45 and getting to our location at 4….
