Mr. Meowski's

Mr. Meowski’s was prattling on this morning about something and I kind of tuned out. I could tell he was excited but I didn’t take the time to share in his joy.

Anyway he bounced out the door this morning as the sun was coming up and I barely even noticed him leaving. Then I looked in the pastry case and Mr.M decided to double the size of our quiche. He turned our ordinary quiche into something beautiful and amazing!

I feel bad I could not give him the time of day. You better believe I’m coming home with a new toy and a bag of temptations for him!

Mr. Meowski’s has been really overwhelmed lately, and you know what I tell him? Just show up, point yourself in the right direction, and put one paw in front of the other.

Hey Team!! I feel like I’m have not been checking in with you often enough, mostly because I don’t have a good story to tell or something profound to say that is worthy of consuming your time.

But sometimes, just knowing someone else is out there is enough to calm the soul, even if no words are exchanged.

So, I’m here, and I’m glad you are here as well.

Mr. M and I have to seek quiet refuge away from the bakery this week. Mr. M is currently curled up on a windowsill with the morning sunbeams gently caressing his fur, and I am sipping coffee on the couch staring at the book cover of Moby Dick, which I hope to read someday before I die, but for now I'll just stare at the cover.

We will be back at it next week, we promise, so fear not my fellow team members!

Break on 3, and go out there and seize the day, or not, it really depends what your soul needs! One, two, three!!!!
