We often get asked how we’re able to make art in your lattes! Let us tell you, it’s not easy! It takes months and months of practice and consistency. However there are a few key things that you need to focus on before you even start pouring! Your espresso, your milk temperature, your milk texture, and drink ingredient ratio.

A good espresso shot should be creamy and have a nice layer of crema that holds the milk texture. Steaming milk is often the most difficult part and every milk option steams a little bit differently. While steaming milk you should let enough air into the milk where it’s not loud and screeching, but not too much air to where the milk is too thick.

A small rotating vortex should occur in the pitcher. Temperature is dependent on the drink for example a cortado should be immediately drinkable. All of these affect your latte art before you even start pouring.

Course has 3 single origin cold brews on tap daily! Each one on tap presents a different flavor profile and one is a nitro cold brew. Currently we are offering a Kenya, our Natural Nicaragua, and our Brazil on Nitro. Any weather is perfect cold brew weather! If you can’t decide which one to get you can always do a cold brew flight!
