Politicians don’t send their kids into “gun-free zones.”

Politicians protect themselves and their children with armed security. They walk through metal detectors guarded by men and women carrying fi****ms. They don’t rely on “gun-free zone” signs to keep them safe.

But when it comes to *our* children we’re told a sticker on a door is protection. We’re told to accept vulnerability. We’re told to trust response times.

If we trust teachers with our children’s minds, futures, and safety every single day… why is it controversial to trust trained, responsible teachers to defend them when it matters most?

If fi****ms are necessary to protect elected officials, why are they suddenly unacceptable when it’s our kids on the line? Protection for them. Policies for us.

That’s the double standard.

This isn’t about politics anymore — it’s about priorities. Are they serious about defending children, or are they just serious about controlling narratives?

Real question: Should our kids get the same level of protection politicians demand for themselves?
