I have some exciting and deeply personal news to share. 💜

My book, So Be It: A Caregiver's Guide to Standing In The Breach, will be published soon — and I couldn't be more grateful to finally bring it into the world!

This book was born out of one of the hardest seasons of my life. I had the sacred privilege of caring for my mom, who lived with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. She passed away on May 7, 2025, and her journey — our journey together — changed me forever.

Through every hard day, every heartbreak, and every tender moment, I clung to Jesus. My faith, along with my educational and professional background as a gerontologist, helped me navigate the grief, the exhaustion, and the deep love that defines this experience.

So Be It is a devotional guide for family caregivers and professional caregivers walking alongside a loved one or patient living with dementia. It's for the moments when you feel like you're losing your footing. It's a reminder that you are not alone, that your work is holy, and that you can stay grounded — even in the hardest of days.

If you know someone caring for a loved one or a patient with dementia, please share this post. This book may be exactly what they need. 💜

Stay tuned for the release date — I can't wait to get this into your hands!
