For many trafficking survivors coming to our House of Hope, healthy community feels completely unfamiliar.

Recently, two residents began attending services and women's gatherings through our partnership with ResLife Church. What may seem ordinary to most people — conversations, laughter, feeling welcomed — has become part of their healing journey.

One woman shared how meaningful it was to spend time “like normal people do,” surrounded by safe and caring relationships. Another said, “I’ve never been around people who are this kind — who actually want to spend time with me and care about me.”

Healing doesn’t happen through shelter alone. It also happens around meal times, in conversations, in prayer and in community. That’s part of what House of Hope is helping make possible every day. 💛
