The third Thursday of October is now nationally known as “Purple Thursday,” and is celebrated during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

We encourage you to wear purple, the color of bravery and peace, on October 19th to show solidarity with those who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and to let them know that help is available!
