The Very Asian Foundation invites you to join us on May 3rd in St. Louis to celebrate AAPI Heritage Day! Join us in section 335 and watch the Cardinals take on the Dodgers at Busch Stadium during this themed ticket event.

Each theme ticket holder will receive an exclusive jersey designed by St. Louis artist Claire Nipper .

A portion of the proceeds goes towards funding VAF’s nonprofit work in the St. Louis metro. Don’t miss your chance to get this first-ever AAPI Cardinals jersey in the club’s history!

We’d like to highlight one of our May Book Project (MBP) partners, Joanna Ho ()!

Transitioning from a teacher to an author, Joanna writes about the AAPI experience. She recently did an author talk at Gotsch Intermediate () in Affton, Missouri. Students discussed themes from her story, “The Day the Books Disappeared” and engaged in conversation about how impactful it was to see themselves represented within their literature.

At the end of the talk, all the students were given a swag bag with a MBP activity book, VAF pencils, and a bookmark designed by a Eunice Chen (), one of our past creator grant winners!
