Tri-State Overhead Crane

We recently completed a series of three shipments over the last few weeks to deliver six custom 5-ton under running bridge cranes. These units are designed to operate on a massive 740-foot freestanding runway system, providing a complete lifting solution for the facility.

Each crane is equipped with a Detroit electric wire rope hoist and features a step-cut girder design to maintain a low profile. To manage six cranes on a single runway, we integrated anti-collision systems and Magnetek Telependant radio controls for precise, safe operation.

Monday morning started with the shipment of this custom 1-ton under running double girder bridge crane. The system features a specialized twin hook rotating hoist with hooks spaced 8 feet apart.
Capable of continuous 360° rotation at 1 RPM, the hoist allows for precision load positioning via a Magnetek Flex 8EX2 radio remote. For added safety, integrated LED line lights project a boundary box on the floor around the hooks during operation.
