From the Vault Thursday...⌛
Always a favorite in our vault! The Sheldon Concert Hall proudly wears its art on its sleeve. As a tribute to its rich cultural history, Engraphix custom-crafted a one-of-a-kind 3-D sculptural illusion. This stunning piece is made from 504 stainless steel plates, each ¼” thick, perfectly stacked together to form a breathtaking visual display. 🔥
The process? It’s a work of art in itself:
🔨 Water-jet cutting for precision ✂️
🔧 Vibratory tumbling to smooth sharp edges 🌀
🌿 Passivation to prevent rust and enhance durability ✨
🔝 Meticulously stacking each plate to perfection! 🏗️
