Starting off the new year with the playful and and effervescent Beethoven 1 with Peninsula Symphony ! It was a great joy to be back making music with my friends in the orchestra and thrilling to see so many friends in the audience also. Music bringing people together 😍 Happy new year, everybody!

Sometimes music attaches itself to a memory, an experience, a place, a person… I’m storing last week’s Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in Aspen Music Festival and School in my memory box with this magnificent view of Maroon Bells. Whenever I hear the second theme, I will return to this place… of incredible beauty, grandeur, peace, and hope.
