Del Taylor State Representative

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – State Representative Del Taylor is pleased to announce his appointment as the new Vice Chairman of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Task Force.

In this new leadership role, Rep. Taylor will help guide the Task Force’s efforts to combat substance abuse, strengthen prevention programs, expand access to treatment services, and support recovery initiatives across the state. The Task Force plays a critical role in developing policy recommendations and collaborating with state agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to address the ongoing opioid epidemic and other substance use
challenges.

“I am deeply honored to be appointed to this role,” stated Taylor, D-St. Louis. “This issue touches far too many families in our communities. I look forward to working with my colleagues
on the Task Force to advance practical, results-driven solutions that prevent addiction, save lives, and support long-term recovery.”
Rep. Taylor has been a vocal advocate for expanding mental health resources and substance abuse treatment during his time in the legislature. This new appointment reflects his continued
commitment to making substance abuse prevention and recovery a top priority.
