💞🙌🏿 Happy Friday Family! 🙌🏿💞
As I travel to receive a Humanitarian Award, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and reminded that what God is doing in this season has very little to do with me and everything to do with obedience.
This week alone, through God's grace and the power of collaboration, Love In Action has:
✅ Helped move 4 more families into stability following the storms
✅ Provided over 113 families with quality food and essential resources
✅ Distributed thousands of personal care items into hurting communities
✅ Continued preparing for our Pow Wow Youth Camp and the opportunity to pour into our young people this summer
And today, for the first time in a while, Free Food Friday took a little break.
Not because the need isn't there, but because sometimes those who serve need a moment to breathe too.
Today was a reminder that self-care is not selfish. Rest is not quitting. Taking time to restore, reflect, pray, and be refreshed is part of being able to continue serving well.
Even Jesus stepped away to pray, rest, and spend time with the Father. If our Savior modeled rest, we should not feel guilty for doing the same.
A humanitarian is someone who seeks to promote human welfare and alleviate suffering. As followers of Jesus Christ, we know that true humanitarian work is not just about meeting physical needs—it's about sharing the love, hope, and healing of Christ with a hurting world.
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, partner, church, business, and supporter who helps us be the hands and feet of Jesus every day.

Family… Free Food Friday may look different right now, but the mission has not changed. ❤️
Today looked like coordinating quality food pickups, building collaborative partnerships with ministries and organizations that truly care, and continuing to serve families navigating an economy that is affecting many in ways they’ve never experienced before.
Love In Action’s territory is being enlarged. 🙌🏽
What the enemy meant for limitation, God is using for expansion, deeper relationships, and greater impact. We are grateful for every volunteer, donor, prayer warrior, and community partner helping us continue to love and serve ALL people with dignity.
As we prepare for Pow Wow Camp 2026 in Ferguson, we invite our community to continue walking alongside us! 🍿
