End of a Loc Journey with Karen

K and met through a mutual friend at a protest in the summer of 2017, at that time a year or so into her . 5 years later, her super dense hair became too heavy and too much to maintain.

It can be difficult to let go of your hair, it sometimes feels like cutting off a part of your personality. I was thrilled when K contacted me and said she would cut and detangle the locs and would need a little help with a final shape and style.

I am L I V I N G for these results and the breakthrough K had to get here.

We used Hydrating Hairbath and Conditioner. Hold and Volume to style with lots of 💦 🪄

If you want your curls to look thick and juicy when they dry, they need to look clumpy like this when wet. Style with water soluble product on very wet hair and use your hands to manipulate until you get noodles. 💦 🍜🌀 Styled with https://instagr.am/p/CIJRbBhjedQ/
