LESS THAN 48 HOURS AWAY FROM VACANT TO VIBRANT: ETZEL AVENUE EDITION

On Etzel Avenue, we have the opportunity to flip one more unit — turning a vacant property into a home.

This Wednesday, for just 24 hours, Cornerstone STL will host our annual giving campaign — our call to action in the face of St. Louis’ growing rental housing crisis. What used to be an example of extreme hardship — having to choose between food and shelter — is now the baseline reality for many.

But we have a chance to make a tangible difference. A modest four-bedroom home on Etzel is ready to be restored for a family in need. With rising costs for, well, everything, we’ll need your help once again to keep it affordable.

Together, we can raise $90,000 this week to turn a vacant home into a vibrant one while keeping rents low for the West End.

**Updated Application Deadline: Sr. Manager of Neighborhood Impact**

To support applicants who have been impacted by or are involved in relief efforts following the recent tornadoes, Cornerstone CDC has extended the application deadline for the Sr. Manager of Neighborhood Impact position (serving the West End and Visitation Park through WeCollab STL).
