July 19th – SMOKE and THUNDER at Thunder Valley Drift Park!**

We're teaming up with the Pevely Police Department for one of the most unique drift events of the year!

Driver entry is $140, and every driver will receive a $40 Speeding Ticket Voucher at check-in. Spectators will be $20 at the gate.

From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the Pevely Police Department will be setting up speed traps on track, "Speeding for a Reason". If you're caught drifting "over the speed limit," don't be surprised if a police cruiser lights you up and chases you down on course. Once you're pulled over, you'll be issued a speeding ticket, hand over your voucher, and be on your way! The $40 will be going to the charity "Shop with a Cop".

This is also ROUND 3 of the DSSL series, track photos at 2pm, competition starts at 2:30pm.

We'll also have opportunities for:
Photos with police cruisers, lights, and sirens
"Arrest" photos in handcuffs next to your drift car
Meet-and-greet with local officers

Pay $140 at the gate, get your $40 voucher, help show support for the local law enforcement and the charity "Shop with a Cop" and enjoy a day of drifting and laughs with the community. Any other donations to the charity are accepted but not required.

Gates Open: 8:00 AM
Tech Inspection: 9:00 AM
Driver Meeting: 9:45 AM
Speeding for a Reason: 12:00-2:00pm
DSSL RD 3: 2:00-3:00pm
Track Hot: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
