So a new employer shared our name with you? Maybe you’re exploring our social media pages to suss out whether you’d like to meet us. For your upcoming visit to St. Louis, we provide a unique service that will help you and your loved ones get to know the community better. You may have moved before, but this isn't a typical relocation service. It’s not a realtor or a tour guide either. It's more like having a friend in town, someone from outside the company who wants to share all the area has to offer. Your company covers the cost of this service, but anything shared with us is private and not reported back to your employer.

Acclimate St. Louis will pick you up at your hotel or airport and, in between meetings, we’ll show you around. Basically, you’ll get a glimpse into what everyday life might be should things move forward – eating great food, seeing the neighborhoods, visiting the schools, and exploring your hobbies and interests outside the office. If someone might be moving with you ... bring them along! The Acclimate team will satisfy their curiosity about the area.

We’re excited to meet you! Get to know us better on acclimate.city. Find the link in our profile.

Trying to wine, dine, and woo the best and brightest to St. Louis without the likes of Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria, would be doing so without socks. While there really are no words to truly capture what their establishments have meant to us and the newcomers they've hosted over the years, we took a shot here.

Pro Tip: Katie’s Pizza Pasta Osteria in Rock Hill, Town & Country, and soon at Ballpark Village. So charming, adorable, rustic, and cool, you’ll instantly forget you’re in a strip mall, albeit a nice one. And once you try the handmade, squid ink “black spaghetti” with caviar, you’ll instantly know why Katie is a chef’s chef. Other must-have items include starters like her rendition of toasted ravioli or fried artichokes. And every salad - most especially the artichoke salad - is so good it makes you angry. While you can’t miss the gourmet, Neapolitan pizzas that made Katie’s famous, the fresh pasta selections are other-worldly as well - including favorites like the pappardelle with wild boar ragu and lemon gremolata. The bar, wine, and drinks program are awesome, as are the umbrella-clad patios at their locations. Servers here are edgy, competent, and every bit as cool as the atmosphere itself. Something you might not expect either is that they are amazingly patient with children, quickly adorning them with their own ball of pizza dough with which to play while they wait on any number of kid-friendly delicacies from an equally attentive, patient, understanding, family-friendly kitchen. Heads up: if, when you move to St. Louis, you take your partner, visitors, or family here first, you won’t be going anywhere else. At least not for a while. But better yet? You won’t care.

Not once, not twice, but THREE times this last week did a newcomer say that Seedz Cafe in the Clayton/Demun neighborhood was their home away from home. Whenever clients ask if they will be able to live a vegan lifestyle in St. Louis, we fall into a peaceful sleep knowing Seedz is here. A thousand thanks to the team at Seedz Cafe for all you guys do...

Pro Tip: It’s not that Seedz is one of the best vegetarian/vegan/plant-based meals you can have in town. It’s that it’s one of the best meals around, period. People behind the counter here care. Like, they seriously care—but not in an annoying way. Get the vegan mac and cheese and ask for it with broccoli, mushrooms, and a “kick”. Get tostadas. Get the raw pad thai with zucchini noodles. Wash it down with a legit smoothie on one of the city’s most adorable sidewalk patios.
