Well, apparently I spoke too soon. The City's Excise Commissioner has raised a legal red flag over the issue of homebrewers' participation in the festivals. He's determined that we are effectively "selling" homebrew, which is illegal. As a result, no homebrew at this festival.
We've been awfully quiet, but here's some news for all you Jew-Brew lovers. We're serving to the public for the first time ever this weekend! I gotta say, I'm a bit nervous, so if you're going to Heritage Fest, I recommend any shift BUT Saturday 11-3. If you insist on going to that shift, then I suppose you might as well stop by the Homebrewers' tent to try Two Jews Brews' Wheat Tip. (So named b/c it was supposed to have 7 pounds of wheat, but we had to cut it short.)
