We’ve seen the impacts of sharp skates, arteries nicked or narrowly missed and other significant injuries, in our own, local hockey kids. Making sure you/your kids are wearing/using safety equipment correctly and consistently helps keep the sport and everyone on the ice and benches as safe as possible.

We are advocating for neck guards to be required by hockey clubs including by Missouri Hockey and Mid-States Hockey.

Regardless of league requirement, we strongly urge all players to add neck guards to your gear.
