πŸŽ“ Congratulations to all of our graduates!

This year, we provided our graduating collegians with Hope Ignites honor cords in our blue, white and orange colors. These honor cords are a visible symbol of everything they've accomplished.

Earning a degree is a major milestone on its own, but our graduates have gone above and beyond. They've balanced academics with the perseverance, leadership, and commitment that are integral to the Hope Ignites journey. These cords represent all of that, and the community that has stood behind them every step of the way.

Wear them with pride. You've earned it. 🧑

Hope is alive and well in Mexico! πŸ‡²πŸ‡½

Recently, Brian Hipp, Vice President of Mission Effectiveness, and Vivian Mendoza, Latin America Program Supervisor, visited Ser y Crecer, the Hope Ignites affiliate in Mexico. They were hosted by Leticia Lara, Ser y Crecer's Executive Director, and her remarkable team.

The trip was packed with inspiring visits with scholars, collegians, and their families. Despite a challenging post-pandemic environment, Ser y Crecer is doing incredible work by using their residences to house collegians who are committed to bettering their communities through self-directed social projects.

The academy is also making a massive impact virtually, engaging more than 150 scholars in up to 25 hours of weekly "cameras-on" classes ranging from mathematics to music.

Looking ahead, the team also met with board chair Federica Saza to plan for new, in-person Academy programming at safe and accessible attendance centers.

Always great to see that our mission thrives under the care and hard work of team members across the Network!
