We are excited to welcome Zion to the staff! also graduated with Gio in The Sunflower Institute 2024 and 2025. In his new role as Program Coordinator Intern, he will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills as an artist, creative and chef. Last year Zion teamed up with Chef Queenie to create some incredible meals during our summer camping trip in Cuba, MO. Show him some love! ❀️‍πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ

Ujima is hiring this quarter! Join our team as we continue our fight for food justice, environmental stewardship and youth empowerment! 🌱🌻🌎

Job Openings:

- Development Manager (Part-Time): We are looking for a team member to manage our annual fundraiser event, build relationships with existing donors, formalize a new monthly giving program, support ED with grant research and foundation outreach as well as other relevant development tasks. Base salary is $40K, paid out monthly for 12 months.

- Administrative Assistant (Part-Time): We are looking for team members to support the Executive Director with managing calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics, monitor shared inboxes, organize and maintain digital files, shared drives and support staff and leadership team as needed. Compensation is $25/hour.

- Alumni Interns: (Must be a TSI 2021-2025 Graduate) We are looking for interns to support our urban farm, teach agriculture workshops to youth and other Ujima programming support. Compensation is $20/hour.
