Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship

You got me begging on my knees. Pretty please come see me Friday outside of Gallery Pub for the Shaw Neighborhood Street Block Party Bonanza. All I have ever wanted is to see your face at this show. I'm playing for 2 hours, but it will feel like 5 hours. When people gather to have a party they always say "what if we could get a fire truck just to like be at the party?" Well it's your lucky day because there will be a fire truck just around at this street party. I start at 5:30pm. The sun will be shining. I will be sweating profusely. We're going to have a great time. Please. I beg you.

Peelander-Z were involved in a terrible traffic accident a few days ago and are all still recovering in the hospital with some pretty serious injuries. They are a band that fills me with so much joy every time I see them. They're one of my absolute favorites and it breaks my heart that this happened. I was even listening to them all day and scouring ebay for vintage Peelander shirts the day I found out about the accident. They've been incredibly nice to me over the years, I've gotten to open for them a few times here in St. Louis and they've invited me down to play with them in Austin numerous times as recently as this year's SXSW. I couldn't always make it work, but I was able to make it down to Austin a few years back and play their annual Peelander Fest and it was a blast. They are truly an inspiration to me as a silly lil band and I can't tell you enough how awesome they are. Please consider donating to their gofundme that goes towards their recovery.
