As a certified Duo Facility dog, York provides essential emotional support to both students and staff, acting as a grounding presence during stressful school days and helping everyone navigate the typical anxieties of middle school life. His gentle nature creates a safe, welcoming environment, and his presence alone can instantly de-escalate high-pressure moments. York is also a massive motivator for the student body; the kids absolutely love him and eagerly work hard to earn designated, rewarding time to sit, play, or simply unwind with him.
