Rakija has the power to remind us where we came from.

A little update from the farm.

These are the final days, right before the plums are ready— which means there’s no such thing as “waiting.” Every day is spent getting ready—cleaning equipment, preparing the distillery and equipment, checking the orchards, and trying to stay one step ahead of what’s coming.

Last year, all over Serbia, a late frost devastated the crop before the season even had a chance.
This year couldn’t be more different.
The trees are loaded, the fruit looks beautiful, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most productive harvests we’ve ever seen.

There’s still plenty of work before the first plum is picked... but once the time arrives, it’s game on.
