Students spent the afternoon mastering grilling and smoking techniques while creating a complete summer menu from start to finish. Every recipe highlighted fresh seasonal flavors and practical skills to take home.

On the menu:

🥦 Tangy charred broccoli with spicy vinaigrette
🥬 Grilled romaine BLT salad with buttermilk dressing

An Italian Travelogue of Fritters took our kitchen on a delicious journey through Italy on July 15 with Chef Bob Colosimo. Drawing on his restaurant expertise and passion for authentic Italian cuisine, Chef Bob shared the techniques behind regional fritters that range from savory street food favorites to sweet celebratory treats. Students discovered how simple ingredients can be transformed into irresistible bites with the right technique and a little practice.
