Santa Needs Help

Our Story

I am telling my story to all my Facebook friends. A group of volunteers started Santa Needs Help in 2004. We began by helping children affected by the HIV virus and cancer. As time went on, our volunteers saw a need and wanted to reach to more children with different needs. We held car washes and bake sales in order to raise money to fund our mission.

Soon after, we registered Santa Needs Help with the State of Missouri and received our 501(c)(3) status. Since the beginning, we have never charged any charity that we have helped. All of our funds come from our generous community and families that we help.

We have expanded our services since the beginning to include popcorn machine, snow cone machine, an exotic petting zoo, and a trackless train that the kids just LOVE!! And Santa himself, of course!

We assist other charities during their events at no cost to them in order to enable those charities to provide the services to the children in need. The various local charities we have helped in the past include:
