The graphic designer I hired (Bobby Reichle) to work his magic on my game's components has taken a first pass at the game's box cover. Here are a couple renders of it:

Excited to see the storyboards for the Rubber Ducky Rampage! video coming along!
Updates on RDR: Cover artist is now doing three new, smaller pieces to go into ads and the rulebook. Graphic designer is working away at all of the game's other visual elements. And I now have a videographer starting on creating videos to showcase the game. He's still at the rough storyboard stage; I'll share storyboards once they're in more-final shape.

Bobby Reichle is working hard on the visual elements of Rubber Ducky Rampage! (Aside from the cover art, done by the marvelous Si'yann). Attached should be the current (not final) version of the logo Bobby's done for us on the cover; not sure why it's showing up greenish on FB but it's a lot more blue-tinged than shown here. Weird.
Also attached is Bobby's first pass at RDR's game board. It still needs a watery, bubbly background throughout the Tub, and the Round Tracker will be revised, but here's where it is in first pass form.
I have a line on a videographer/graphic artist to start working on a video for the game's landing page but that will take a while to create.
Just wanted to pass along some updates!
So, newly formed Breault Games LLC is working to get its first game -- Rubber Ducky Rampage! -- into shape to launch a Kickstarter campaign.
The game's been playtested by almost 50 folks over the last couple of years, in classes, at conventions (including GenCon), and in game nights at my home.
Now that the design elements are in good shape, we're working to finalize the visual elements of the game. The cover art has been finished (rubber duckies duking it out in a suds-filled bathtub) by the wonderful Si'yann and does a great job of representing the game's player experience.
The game's other visual elements are being created by Bobby Reichle, a skilled and experienced graphic artist with other game designs to his credit. The cover design and game board design are both well underway with player boards and other elements on deck.
Tons of thanks to Christopher Badell (co-founder of Greater Than Games, publisher of Spirit Island and Sentinels). He has gone through all this before and has passed along great advice about artists, graphic designers, interacting with manufacturers, and more.
After designing (and re-designing from insightful playtester feedback) this game for a couple of years, it's a great feeling to see it coming into its final form.
Thanks for reading!
