Mann Elementary PTO

The Mann Track team had a successful season this year. After 3 meets, they placed in the finals in the Boys 4x100m relay and 800m Sprint Medley. Individual medals were also awarded to Journey Brown in the 200m, Trevion Howard in the 400m, Joss Hoeplinger in the 800m, and Viliame Kren in the Long Jump. Congratulations to the team on their hard work this season! 🐴💙

Thanks to leaders & funders of seedstlouis for visiting the Mann Global Garden today - which became the Dedication of our Mann Outdoor Classroom. Thanks to Mann winning a special grant (one of two schools in the City for next year), an educator from Seed St. Louis will be working with Mann students & teachers in 26-27 to incorporate the garden more fully into different subjects & topics. The 5th grade girls in litshopstl completed their dry erase easels for the outdoor classroom, too!! They look great!

The Mann Outdoor Classroom has been a longtime coming - from a dream in 2024, our first Trivia Night in the fall of 2024, lots of bureaucratic wrangling with many different entities, help from members of Laborers 110 and countless Mann parents & community members, the Mann Outdoor Classroom will be officially dedicated tomorrow, Friday, May 8, at 1:30 pm as part of Seed St. Louis' School Garden Tour with Board members and leaders. Mann families & volunteers are welcome to attend. **We also have COFFEE CORNER Friday morning (tomorrow), Friday, May 8, 8:00 am - 8:45 am. 🐴 ❤️

SLPS will dismiss 2 hours early today (April 27) due to severe weather. Central Office closes at 3 p.m.; Maintenance & Security at 4 p.m. Buses will run on the adjusted schedule. Please plan accordingly and stay safe.

All after-school activities and athletic events for Monday, April 27 are canceled due to the forecast of severe weather. School will dismiss 2 hours early. After-care programs will close at dismissal, and all practices, games, and clubs are canceled. We will continue to monitor conditions.

Due to the forecast of severe weather in our area, Saint Louis Public Schools will implement an early dismissal today to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community.

Schools will close 2 hours early and Central Office will dismiss at 3 p.m.

Maintenance and Security personnel will dismiss at 4 p.m.

Transportation services will align with this adjusted schedule and will continue operating until all students have safely arrived at their destinations.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We encourage all parents and caregivers to plan accordingly to accommodate this early dismissal.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates as needed.
