With deep sorrow, we inform our community of the passing of Harka Maya Bhandari, beloved mother of Chandra Bhandari.
She passed away on 04/15/2026 at the age of 83 in Beldangi-1, Sector F4, Hut No. 329-30 refugee camp.
She was originally from Dagana , Bhutan (Gosi Block, Khagochin Village).

Her son, Chandra Bhandari, a respected member of our Saint Louis community, is performing the ritual at his residence (3402 Winnebago St, St. Louis, MO 63118) from today.

We kindly request community members to visit and offer comfort and support to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

On behalf of BAST (Bhutanese Community of Saint Louis), we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family.

We are saddened to inform our community about the passing of one of our respected senior members, Late Rupa Thapa.
She peacefully left us today around 6:40 PM at the hospital.

Her residence was at 4043 Koeln Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116.
Funeral arrangements are being planned and will be finalized by tomorrow or the following day.
We will share further details as soon as they are available.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to her family.
