Meat Science Club at Penn State

Join us TONIGHT for our end of the year picnic!! MEAT 🥩 us at 7 p.m. at the Meats Lab! Looking forward to seeing all of our meat scientists 🧪tonight!!

Our first member spotlight is our beloved senior Leah Pellis 🎓. She is a senior majoring in Animal Science with an Agribusiness Management minor. She has served as a Meat Science president and fundraising chair 🥩. In her time here she has planned several fundraisers and attended AAMP twice and even took home fourth place for her jalapeño cheese summer sausage in South Carolina 🎖️. She has plans to get a full time job in food safety quality assurance after graduation. Good luck and thank you Leah! She has loved the meat industry family ever since she came here to Penn State and started working at the Meats Lab in 2022.
