From being found near death to being adopted and enjoying his first ever beach trip -- it's literally been a life-changing year for Poky!

In 2025, Poky's story was one of our most heart-wrenching rescues.

When Poky was rescued, he was not registering a body temperature, was severely dehydrated, and was literally starving to death, weighing in at just 47 pounds.

Fast-forward to today, he had a blast at the beach with his family!

His family shared that, "he absolutely loved walking in the ocean and had to say hi to every person who walked passed us."

This , we're celebrating the incredible businesses, families, and friends who have already stepped forward to support this year's Patio Party.

As we prepare for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, we're reminded that it truly takes a community to care for homeless animals. Every sponsorship helps provide food, shelter, medical care, enrichment, and second chances for the cats and dogs who rely on PAWS each and every day.
