🌍 What an inspiring day at Mid-State Literacy Council!

Yesterday we were honored to welcome 25 English language educators from around the world to learn about our small-but-mighty community literacy center in downtown State College.

A heartfelt thank you to the Intensive English Communication Program at Penn State and FHI 360 for making this incredible opportunity possible. It was a privilege to connect with English language teaching professionals from 20 countries as part of a two-week exchange program exploring emerging technologies and innovative practice in language education.

After presentations at the MSLC office, we continued the conversation at the new space, enjoying beautiful weather and engaging discussions. Special thanks to Downtown State College and Comet Properties for creating such a welcoming community gathering space.

Experiences like this remind us of the power of global collaboration, lifelong learning, and sharing ideas. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission, exchange perspectives, and learn from such a talented and dedicated group of educators.
