Pulley Bar
Basement bar where I have my supply of home brewed beer on tap
Brewed an Irish Heavy from a kit I won this past summer. Had planned to do an IPA, but the drive shaft on my malt mill broke!
Kegged up an Oktoberfest and Dortmunder export last night. Lots of malty goodness going on. Brewed up a fresh hop pale ale/IPA last weekend and planning a dunkel Weissen this weekend
Wow, it's been a while since I've updated folks. I finally have gotten back to brewing so that means I have kegs to kick so I can make room for the new stuff. If you want a growler, I have a Doppelbock, Oktoberfest, Pale ale and a cider that need to go. If you bring a growler by, I will fill it
Busy day in the brew house. I'm brewing up a pale ale with some new hops. And I've kegged 4 beers today, including and Belgian pale ale and a Belg. Pale ale - both very nice. Also kegged up a Leight beer (4.5% ABV, 130 Cal.) that is quite tasty, and finally, the IPA where I used the hop rocket to do a recirculating hop stand - WOW!!! it almost doesn't need to be dry hopped!
I picked up a new yeast strain so I had to try it out. Brewed up a Belgian pale ale and used White Labs Bastogne strain (WLP 510). I used a recipe that is pretty close to my Oktoberfest recipe except for the addition of some special B. I had made a Belg. pale ale with the Saison yeast I love (WLP 566), and that was just not right. This yeast is supposed to be good for dubbels and trippels too
