On Next Tuesday, September 24 at 6pm, join the NYC Environmental Protection for the Staten Island Flood Preparedness Town Hall meeting. NYC DEP will be giving a presentation on flooding, what you can do to protect your property, and what the city is doing to fortify communities in the face of climate change. NYC DEP be providing attendees with a limited supply of free flood preparedness kits that include a sump pump, flood barriers and a flood sensor alarm.
