We are currently looking for full time, part-time, substitutes, and van drivers.

OVERVIEW:
A Child Care Caregiver is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children to preteens. Their duties include producing creative and educational activities, preparing, and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for them.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education level- GED/ High School Diploma
Must be at least 18 years or older
Must pass a criminal background check and FBI check
Certified in CPR/1st Aid
Certified Food Handlers
Preferably but not required, at least 18 months' experience with children in a group setting, or at least 6 months' experience and 12 credit hours in early childhood education.
Certifications- Any 1st Aid Certifications a Plus
Personal characteristics –
Caring and compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children,
Strong verbal communication and listening skills to converse with children, fellow professional caregivers and parents or guardians
Excellent patience and stamina for keeping up with the demands of children of all ages
Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to handle multiple children at a time
Physical abilities– Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 25-40 lbs. daily

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Child Care Workers are responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner. Some of their typical duties include:

Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
Preparing meals and snacks for the kids
Organizing activities and developing curriculum for older children
Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
Maintaining contact with the children’s parents and contacting them in case of an emergency.

Substitute teachers get to work with all age groups in various classrooms. If a permanent position becomes available, we do hire from our substitute list first, if the hours meet the position we need to fill. Our hours of shift positions are: 6a-1p & 1p-6p. All employees must be able to pass a criminal background check & have high school diploma/GED/Unofficial Transcript from college. Requirements for all positions (we can help obtain if needed) are the following:

CPR & 1st Aid Certified
Food Handlers Certified
