If you've ever declined an invitation to be transformed (for the better), you're not alone. Day six is a confession of my declining an invitation from God, another step (backward, most likely) on my slow start to surrender.

When the Light Gets In I cried because I knew the invitation included a journey to a new depth of healing–a depth that would require me to walk very difficult and painful things–and I just couldn’t bear the thought of walking through more difficult things, through more pain.

Yesterday, after almost 105 years of building a legacy of love, we laid my great-grandmother to rest. Read of her impact and be encouraged to lay down your life for others as she did.
