What started as structure is quickly turning into the spaces that will support patients, providers, and the surrounding community! As the buildout continues across each floor, the University of Michigan Health Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Troy Center for Specialty Care is coming together in a whole new way.

We are honored to share that the historic Ford Engineering Laboratory in Dearborn has been recognized with an Adaptive Reuse Award as part of the AIA Michigan 2026 Design & Recognition Awards.

With design led by DiClemente Siegel Design Inc. our team served as contractor on the nearly 500,000-square-foot renovation, helping bring new life to a landmark space while preserving the character, history, and innovation behind Ford’s former Design Center.

We’re proud to have played a role in a project that honors the past while creating space for what’s next.
