Loudoun4All
Loudoun4All is an advocacy organization (527 PAC) in Loudoun County, VA that supports equity.
Santos Muñoz has tried to hide his deep political connections to the alt-right. He has accepted $3,500 from the Loudoun County Republican Committee and has donated a total of almost $4000 to federal far-right candidates. If there’s a local Republican event or an opportunity to volunteer, you can be sure that Mr. Munoz will be there. Take a look at who helped him garner signatures and organize his campaign. You guessed it, local alt-right, MAGA Republicans. Yet, he has filed to run as an Independent. Loudoun residents have a clear choice: reject extremism, demand honesty, and protect our public schools.

Our full statement:
Deana Griffiths has previously decided not to vote in favor of any proclamations that are put before the school board as a practice, but went out of her way to comment on the LGBTQ+ history month proclamation. That is not neutrality but targeted disrespect. If Griffiths truly believed proclamations were meaningless, she would remain silent on all of them. Her decision to single out this specific proclamation with such ignorant commentary can only be understood as malicious.
Recognition of history is not “promotion of a lifestyle.” LGBTQ+ students, staff, and families exist in Loudoun and deserve the same dignity as everyone else. Griffiths’ attempt to frame recognition as “inappropriate content” is harmful, especially to young people who already face higher rates of bullying and mental health struggles when leaders stigmatize them. In fact, decades of research show that inclusive education that teaches respect and representation is one of the most effective ways to prevent bullying and improve school climate.
When exclusionary rhetoric is voiced so openly, it emboldens others to follow suit. This is evident in the shift of board members Shernoff and Labell who supported this proclamation last year but opposed it this year.
Loudoun School Board approves LGBTQ proclamation despite opposition Loudoun County School Board proclamations are typically noncontroversial, but a proclamation recognizing October as LGBTQ+ History Month drew three no votes at the board's Sept. 30 meeting.

Our GOP school board candidates have been hiding their disdain for trans children behind cries of, "but what about funding our Title I schools!" The truth is that there's no bigger threat to education funding than the GOP themselves.
House GOP eyes 27% cut to Title I The FY 26 proposal would eliminate funding for teacher training, full-service community schools and English Language Acquisition programs.
