Many workplace injuries happen while simply moving through the office, from slips, trips, and falls to unexpected bumps or collisions. The good news? A few simple habits can help prevent these common accidents.

✅ Keep your eyes on your path and avoid distractions like texting or reading while walking
✅ Walk at a controlled pace and slow down near doorways and intersections
✅ Stay to the right side of hallways and aisles
✅ Keep a hand free when carrying items, especially when using stairs
✅ Open doors carefully and be aware of others nearby
✅ Keep walkways clear of boxes, cords, and other trip hazards
✅ Close file drawers when they’re not in use
✅ Use stepstools and ladders safely, avoid overreaching
✅ Report damaged flooring or other hazards before they cause an injury

Remember: workplace safety doesn’t just happen at a job site, it starts with the everyday choices we make in the office. A little awareness can go a long way in preventing injuries.
