Chhandayan Maryland Chhandayan means the course (ayan) of rhythm (chhand).

Dear all,
Chhandayan Center for Indian Music will be hosting a special workshop on Tabla and Indian Rhythm exclusively with female students of tabla, singing, instruments and dance. This workshop is for any female student interested in furthering their knowledge and understanding in tabla and rhythm. Students of all ages, backgrounds and levels are welcome.
It will be held
at the Chhandayan Center for Indian Music,
4 west 43rd Street, #616, New York, NY 10036
from September 1st through the 4th.

Chhandayan will be hosting a Diwali Festival on October 21st, 22nd and 23rd at the Franklin Park Arts Center near Leesburg. In this festival we will feature music, dance, theater and other types of performing arts. Teachers are being requested to participate with their students.
