It’s been almost 8 months since we have had a date night! ⁣
⁣
We went on a date and talked about our thoughts and dreams for the baby right before Evie was born. ⁣
⁣
And here we are with Evie who is now 7 months old. ⁣
⁣
So since she’s been born, no date nights….Unless you count changing diapers and getting spit up on a date LOL ⁣
⁣
And I’m not complaining. In fact these past 7 months have been the best months of our lives. ⁣
⁣
The truth is we waited a long time to become parents. We wanted to focus on us, on our careers but then time just slipped away until we had waited so long that we ended up struggling for years to get pregnant. ⁣
⁣
And now that she’s here, we look at each other and we can’t believe that we waited. ⁣
⁣
What did we wait for? Was it Fear? Fear of not being ready? ⁣
⁣
When people come to me for help, a lot of times they have put off their health for years. And there could be a lot of different reasons for it. ⁣
⁣
- Fear of failing⁣
- Fear of what others will think⁣
⁣
And sometimes you let that fear hold you back until you eventually reach a point where you realize that if you would have just made the decision to start back then, you would in a much better place now. ⁣
⁣
You wouldn’t be having the health issues you are now. ⁣
⁣
Your joints wouldn’t be hurting. You wouldn’t find yourself out of breath just walking up the steps. ⁣
⁣
But here’s the good news, it’s not too late to start! ⁣
⁣
It’s time to stop focusing on “What If I would have started back when” and start focusing on “What if I don’t start now”⁣

It is merely data that we can use to understand how the body is reacting to certain things.⁣

The scale can fluctuate for a whole lot of different reasons and NONE OF THEM ARE BECAUSE YOU ARE A FAILURE!⁣

The scale doesn’t Represent ⁣
- Your Self Worth!⁣
- How much work you’ve put in!⁣
- If you’re gonna succeed or not!⁣
⁣
It’s just a number/data.⁣
⁣
Once we realize that so many things can make the scale fluctuate then we can remove it’s power over us!
