From Becky: I am so thankful for my office family! Last May when was in ER with a ruptured appendix, the CT found a 10 cm mass in my chest that turned out to be Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The past 9 months have been full of tests, labs and chemo, but as of last week I have finished chemo, and my initial scans show a complete response to treatment!

Thankfully I was able to work throughout my treatment, and just had to work from home a few weeks. Our team was amazing and took up the slack when needed, and cheered me on the whole way.

It never occurred to me that I would not win this battle, but who you surround yourself with matters!!

Lastly….I encourage everyone to get the routine scans, advocate for yourself, and surround yourself with good, kind and supportive people!

After a year where our community was devastated by wildfires, we were in awe of how our community came together to help one another. We are carrying that spirit into the holiday season, and chose 7 Angels from the tree at Stillwater Mill to provide gifts to elders in our community, and went shopping together last night to fill their wish lists.

We encourage everyone to remember the reason for season and help one another. Even if it’s as simple as an encouraging word, help loading groceries, or monetary assistance if you are able.

Our office will be closing at noon on Friday April 11th, for a belated Christmas celebration. We will be joining the masses and taking in the Boys From Oklahoma concert experience.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a week since we all woke up to the aftermath of devastating wildfires. We hope everyone is doing well.
